We're still sorting through our portion of the haul here, but it is all quite generous. A huge box full of nothing but books, and all of them so useful. And Merlin knows we were in desperate need of wands and wand supplies -- Aleks really came through on that count. And the staples were much-needed too. All those oats and flour, not to mention sugar and fruit -- it was looking to be a rather tight winter with the eight growing teenagers that fell in our laps unexpectedly. They have bottomless stomachs, the whole lot of them. Now, we're a good deal more comfortable for the next few months until the growing season starts again.
