I'm over across the garden. That mouldy smell is back again. Guess we know why the building hasn't ever been let since you opened this place.
As for expanding the walls, I think it's worth a shot. Only not now; Bea and Dora are both having a snooze. Maybe while we're getting ready for her to come home tomorrow morning we could take a look together.
And you'd best be careful about where that hand goes tonight. If you don't want it licked under the table. Tease.

Mouldy smell. That's not good. Let's try some expansion charms later.

Merlin. Wasn't last full moon enough proof that it's hard to resist that sort of thing, even as Padfoot?
Yeah. Over in the little chamber Dora was going to use if we'd chucked her out. No way is it fit for more than a few hours' use. In fact I'm not even sure if it'll be all that perfect for muggleborns if we're smuggling them through, but at least we might be able to fix it up if we're expecting to hide someone there for a while. I'm not having Bea sleeping in there, that's for sure, nor Dora either.
And yes, I was thinking if we extended the front room we could perhaps get a second bedroom out of it.

I'd be wary of hiding muggleborns there if we can't find a way to deal with the mould. It's the sort of thing that makes people cough or sneeze (not exactly brilliant if anyone comes looking) and can make them sick (not ideal if they're on their way to Sherwood or some such).
Let's start with the front room. Maybe we can expand the area under the stairs as a hiding spot?

And don't think I don't know what you were trying to do. Pillock.
I agree about the mould making people sneeze. That's why I was thinking we'd have to refresh it just before using it. The cleansing spells did last a good week or two; it's just not a permanent solution.
Under the stairs is too close to your cellar. And besides the beauty of across the way is that it's not in the same building at all. If someone searches the place they'll never look on the other side of the garden.
Blast it. I wasn't thinking of needing three bedrooms when we asked Bill to help us find a place.

There's a lot to be said for a third bedroom over across the way, for the two of us -- most importantly, I can hear Bea crying when she wakes at night. Privacy is nice, but not leaving Dora to get up with her every time is also nice. I just wish the place were a bit bigger. Even expansion spells won't really fix that.

But it's not fair to Dora to be right under her nose, either, silencing spells or no.
You know, we could
