Ginny Weasley's got additional confirmation that those attacks could be the key to winning over anyone who's still on the fence about whether or not we're the good guys.

It's possible he'd know. I think it's unlikely he'll tell us, unless we can come up with some sort of strategy to get the leak blamed on someone else.

They might not need to know there was any sort of leak. We could either respond after they start their attack (and someone could conceivably have had time to raise an alarm) or we arrange to already be there, or we arrange to be conspicuously and visibly elsewhere when the attack is initiated.

There are ways to counter their tactic without giving away that we have an insider.
