Relax, Poppy. I'm not suggesting any sort of competition with that greaseball; I only believe in fair fights.
Anyway. I'm fine. I've been with Paul John and Lucinda for the past few days. We've worked out the best part of a route from Mrs Langworthy's to Mr Franks' house in Nether Broughton - one that's unlikely to attract any attention.
Oh, well, we did see a work detail from one of the camps two days ago but they didn't see us. John's got a plan to make contact tomorrow and see if we can spirit one or two of the muggleborns away while they're on their water break.
So it's perfectly safe. Unlike replacing someone we don't even know in direct contradiction to orders.
And Mrs L's rather a cracking cook. She's been force-feeding us pies and cream buns. Practising, she says, for when starving muggleborns arrive on her doorstep. I've told her that over-sugaring them is probably not the best idea.
Anyway, far as Milland is concerned, if he's anything like as outgoing as you lot have already described, Snivelly will be caught out within a week. Specially as he's meant to be hale and hearty and able to go dancing down the corridors with his dustbin and mop.
Though come to that, I'd like to see old Snipe mopping up the classrooms and taking all manner of grief from students. Probably do him a world of good to have his ego punctured on a daily basis.
Get your cream buns back here, Mr Black, and stop fishing for testimonials of how much we miss you.
Take my word for it: you are missed and moped after and- if I could think of another m, I'd make it a clever list, but I can't, and you're being an idiot, so stop that and come home.
Allie, I dunno what you're on about, but you ask Frank if a man wants to make love to his own wife with an audience around - whether on two legs or four.
Between Bea and me and the business they never get any peace and quiet. I'd've taken her with me and all, if I could've done, just to let them have their privacy.
He's been moping, sure. But that's what Moony does. He'll get over it once he remembers what he got married for what to do with a girl.
I know you're keeping his best interests at heart. And you very much want to see him happy, and give him what he needs, like I do. I only wonder if you're on the same page as he is about what all that may entail. That's all.

Don't you even conclude that you ought to compete on this score. You have been reckless enough for any six of us.
Speaking of which. Where are you at the moment and what risks are you taking?

You're right, at least, that you have been entirely beaten out in the rashness sweepstakes by our esteemed new friend 'Mr Milland'.

Private Message to Sirius Black
The time away's served its purpose, and now we'd really like to have you back. No more excuses.
Unless this Mrs L's food is just that much better than what we can offer.
Re: Private Message to Sirius Black
I know sometimes it seems like he and I just talk about 'the old days' and that's bound to get boring.
I don't need to come back if
he'dyou'd rather have some more time alone.Re: Private Message to Sirius Black

Re: Private Message to Sirius Black
So there.
Re: Private Message to Sirius Black
That's excellent, cousin.
I'll tell John and Lu I'm heading back in the morning.
Re: Private Message to Sirius Black
We'll expect you here tomorrow by suppertime. If you're late, we'll have fed your scraps to the other strays.
Private Message to Sirius Black
And I think if you'll look at his reasons, they're very similar to why you did what you did.
Not that I'm condoning either of you, mind.
And Sirius, love, I think you ought to talk to our Remus.
Re: Private Message to Sirius Black
Besides, no one told me not to come aboard.
Re: Private Message to Sirius Black
I know your version of helping is to keep your distance, but have you asked Remus what he would prefer? What would help him?
I went to New London this weekend to see him, and he seemed so
I just think that he needs
You really ought to talk to him.

I'm just asking you to talk with him.
Re: Private Message to Sirius Black
Think he's finally done his duty by that girl, from the sound of it. (Merlin, that's my cousin I'm talking about like that!)
But anyway, if I'm to arrive there by supper tomorrow, best get some sleep tonight.
