Order Only: Leaving London?
Jul. 27th, 2010 05:01 pmMoony, you weren't kidding about the Wolfsbane Potion. I don't think I've ever seen you spend a better full moon. Still, it was good to pass it together again. Been too long. Thanks again for the hospitality.
Didn't mean to rush off like that, so soon, either, but - well,Dora Tonks wanted to open up and it seemed like a good time to take my leave. I don't think your customers would worry about a stray hanging about the shop, but it's probably best not to test it, eh?
Anyway. I guess there's no telling where I'll be next full moon, but perhaps if it works out we might get you out of that cellar for a bit. With the potion, I mean, of course.
I'll be back to the usual routine, then, between gathering up old papers (not too smudged with chip oil) and keeping an eye on Buckingham. Though I did have a chat with Benjy and Caradoc, while they were here at the weekend. They have a notion I should leave the city and come with the Players to the next meeting with Davidson. Something about proving to them that I'm still alive, giving their morale a boost. Benjy particularly wanted me to surprise Turner, though I think that may have had more to do with Benjy's predictions about the look on Turner's face when he sees me alive and kicking than anything else. I dunno - it has some merit, of course, but my biggest advantage right now is anonymity. Besides, yesterday's Night Owl seemed fairly certain Snape is in the area, despite the false sighting at Hyde Park. I don't want to leave Harry and Hermione if he really is somewhere in London proper.
Well. Speaking of Harry, it's about the time he usually comes out for flying. I'll be heading off to watch.
Molly, Arthur: No further fallout from the Ministry? Everything okay?
