I should have thought if you were a proper dog, you'd have made your feelings clear directly. In a way Marmalade couldn't have mistaken even if her owner did.

And she's a Yorkshire, I think. Hard to tell under that atrocious jumper she put on the thing.

I suppose to be fair, I'd be in a temper too if you or Moony tried putting bows on my tail. Not to mention expecting me to wear a well revolting jumper.

What I really do wish is we could get him to give it up for a new one. I've a feeling he'll be wearing that tatty cardi until it unravels right off him and let the new one moulder in the wardrobe all the while.

Speaking of things he's not wearing, does he have that good cloak tonight? I didn't see it and there's quite the wind kicking up outside. Hope you're keeping warm - and just about done with the washing up.

He's wearing it tonight. And, no, he's just his shop robes on over it. Says he runs at a higher temperature than most of us do, but, really, I think he's just got fluff where his brains ought to be.

Could always ban dogs of all kinds. It'd keep away both the small and ridiculous, and the large and easily irritated.

I recognised it by the bark. Our closest neighbours had one when I was growing up. My Da got sick of the noise and poisoned it.
