alt_siriusI made contact with John and he brought me to the safehouse where our refugees were waiting. As soon as it got dark we headed out. Taking a bit of a breather just now.
Frank, you didn't say the Dickersons are leaving because they're pregnant.
As for the other four, there's an older woman, Annette Lapay, who has family in France and thinks she can get them all to a safe place to stay. There's a married couple - actually they were married before the muggles lost their supremacy and they were separated in the camps, then found each other in service again, if you can believe that. There's a boy with them, about 9 years old or so. Arthur, he must be one of your missing muggleborns. Says his name's Ben Wickett. Sticks fairly close to Mr and Mrs Cauldwell.
Anyway, we've been on the move now it's dark but I just wanted to let everyone know we're safe so far.

Times like this I really want to get the bike back from Hagrid.

Hagrid's keeping the bike in good kit, I dunno as he's using it all that often. Don't suppose we could get Snivelly to trade him Buckbeak for it, could we?
Ah, but I'm not supposed to make contact again, am I? Poppy would have my paws on a platter.
And don't be silly, the bike belongs in the formal dining room, of course! The rugs in the drawing room are authentic Persians!

Richard is level-headed enough, as is Tim and Tricia, but Finbar? Lisa and Portia need a bit more time to catch up on their studies, and I'm completely unsure how Nicky and Zach will react. But if we give one to Richard, we can't not give one to Finbar. And then the rest will be wanting one too.
Do you think it'll be safe?

I'm worried they'll overestimate their chances on their own, or with a group like Sherwood. I don't think Richard would leave any time soon, he gets on so well with everyone, especially Danny, and doesn't seem like the type to want to go off and fight. But I worry. About them all, really.
As you no doubt can tell, seeing as how I'm blabbering on and on about it while we could just as easily talk in person once you get back safely.
